LG will soon release a major update to the famous Chocolate phone, with a very nice looking facelift and a lot of new feature. Among the new featues, we can list the 2 MP camera, with macro shooting mode and auto focus, the stereo Bluetooth support for music, EDGE technology, microSD memory card slot and FM Radio.
The LG KE800 Platinum is a very thin phone, measuring 95mm x 52mm x 9.9 mm. It is also very low weighed, with only 73g and with a long battery life of 270 hours, in standby mode.
Motorola will release by the end of 2006 the updated version of Motorola L7, the Motorola L7e. The phone has some improvements, like a 1.3 megapixel camera, the menu from Motorola KRZR, now supports video streaming and EDGE technology and a A2DP Bluetooth profile, which can let you listen to music on the stereo Bluetooth headset. Also the memory is upgraded from 5MB to 20MB and comes with a Media Editor Software, which lets the user to edit images. It also comes with a microSD card slot and MiniUSB.
Samsung D900 is the slimmest slider phone in the world and is already on the market. It is only 12.9 mm thick, when closed and has a great TFT display, a 3 megapixel camera.
It featured an MP3 player, GPRS and EDGE class 10, TV OUT, 60 MB of internal memory, which can be extended with a microSD card, QVGA resolution display, Bluetooth.
D900 follows the success of D500 and D600, but it’s more stylish, thin and low weighted, at 04 x 51 x 13 mm and only 85g.
It has a lot of features, but it also lacks some, like 3G, ringing profiles, operating system, no FM radio, no Infrared. Also the body is made of a plastic that looks cheap and of low quality.
The keypad is very functional and easy to press. It has a navigational and calling keypad, which, of course, is used to navigate the menu, make calls, answer or play and the numeric keypad. The keys are placed very nicely and can be pressed by anyone, even if you have thin or thick thumbs.
The display is great with 262,000 colors and 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The colors are true, animations are fast and the sunlight isn’t an issue for it.
Samsung announced their new phone series, Le Fleur, which represents three great mobile phones designed especially for women. One of them, the Samsung E500 is already released on the market and Samsung E570 and E420 will be released soon. The Samsung E570 is a nice looking mobile phone, built after Samsung E530 and has a 1.8 inch, 262,000 colors LCD TFT Display with a 176 x 220 pixels resolution and a 1.3 MP camera. It also has Bluetooth and USB for data transfer, a micro SD memory card slot, for data and music storing and a lot of useful applications.
The Samsung E420 is more beautiful than useful or feature based and is a budget mobile phone. It has a 2″ 65k colors low quality display, a VGA camera and a 1″ 65k colors secondary display.
The E500 is designed especially for ladies and is characterized by it’s low weight and style. It also has a 1.3 megapixel camera, 80 MB of internal memory, Bluetooth, USB.
