The Smasung SPH-M610 is a very good looking mobile phone, with a high quality internal display and a lot of features. Currently, it’s the thinniest and slimmest mobile phone on the market. Also, the phone is not very high priced, despite it’s features, design and size, at only $329 full price.

This mobile phone is a tough competitor gor Motorola Rarz and seems to defeat it, due to it’s size, low weight, design and features.

IT’s main features are the 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, 2.2″ TFT display, with 262k colors, 3G technology and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the camera isn’t of the best quality and the microSD memory card slot is badly positioned, being behind the battery, so you have to turn off the phone and get out the battery to change it.  The display is of good quality, but it has one issue, being seen badly in direct sunlight, as most samsung mobile phone do.

Today, in Amsterdam at the annual Capital Market Days, Nokia announced some new mobile phones to be released soon. Until now, they announced 4 phones and there are more to come tomorrow. There is a budget model, Nokia 2626 and 3 mid to high priced models, Nokia 6086, Nokia 6290 and Nokia 6300.

The budget mobile phone announced today, Nokia 2626 has a 65,000 colors CSTN display, an FM Radio Tuner and 2 MB of internal memory. The retail price, without subsidies and taxes will be 75 euro.

The Nokia 6300 is a simple design mobile phone and is very slim, comparing to all other Nokia mobile phones on the market. It has a very high quality QVGA resolution TFT display, with 16 million colors. It also features a microSd card slot, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera and FM Radio Tuner. The phone will be priced in retail at 250 euro, excluding subsidies and taxes.

The Nokia 6290 is a clamshell design smartphone, featuring quadband, 3G technology, a 2.2″ TFT display with 16 million colors, QVGA resolution and a secondary 256k colors TFT display. The smartphone has 50 MB of internal memory that can be expanded using the microSD memory card, an Infrared port, USB 2.0, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and 2 cameras, a 2 megapixel one and a secondary one for video calls. Nokia 6290 runs the Symbian 9.1 operating system and comes with a FM Radio Tuner, but misses the WiFi technology. It’s pricing will be around 325 euro, without subsidies and taxes.

The Nokia 6086 is another new quadband mobile phone, with a clamshell design. It has a 256,000 colors, 1.8″ TFT display with 128×160 pixels resolution and a secondary monochrome display. Other features are the VGA camera, FM radio tuner, microSD memory card slot and the GPRS and EDGE technologies. It’s greatest feature is the WiFi support which is UMA-enabled, being a combination of WLAN and GSM. The mobile phone will be priced at around 200 euros, excluding subsidies and taxes.

Eten released a new PocketPC, which features a quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, an FM Radio, WiFi 802.11b/g and a GPS receiver. The glofiish M700 also has a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a Bluetooth 2.0 and supports file transfer with a computer by the miniUSB port.

M700 has a relatively low memory, 128 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM, but, fortunately, can be extended using the microSD memory card slot. It’s powered by a 400 Mhz processor, made by Samsung and will come with Windows Mobile 5.0 AKU 3.2. It also featured a 2 megapixel camera, 2.8″ 65 colors touchscreen display, with a QVGA resolution.

Eten glofiish M700 it’s a great all-in-one and will be available since this month.

Nokia 8800 Sirocco is a luxurious phone, the most expensive Nokia on the market. It’s main features are a 2 megapixel camera, good TFT display with 262,000 colors, display protected by a sapphire glass and a body made of glossy steel.

The phone is made of high quality materials and it looks perfect, including it and it’s accesories. It is a stylish phone, looking great, not too big, but a little high weighted. The charger is not like the one from other mobile phones, looking like a docking station.

Unfortunately it doesn’t have a memory card slot, but this phone it’s not made to listen to music or play games, it’s more for talking and business and it’s very good at this, supporting 1000 contacts with lots of details each.

It’s camera it’s of bad quality, taking less quality pictures than almost all 2 megapixel camera mobile phones on the market.

Nokia 8800 Sirocco is a mobile phone built more for talking and for it’s luxurious design and less for other impressive features, like camera or mp3 player. There are other accesories included in it’s package, than in other mobile phone packages, like a leather case, two batteries, a Bluetooth handsfree, a earphone and a cleaning cloth.
