Today, in Amsterdam at the annual Capital Market Days, Nokia announced some new mobile phones to be released soon. Until now, they announced 4 phones and there are more to come tomorrow. There is a budget model, Nokia 2626 and 3 mid to high priced models, Nokia 6086, Nokia 6290 and Nokia 6300.

The budget mobile phone announced today, Nokia 2626 has a 65,000 colors CSTN display, an FM Radio Tuner and 2 MB of internal memory. The retail price, without subsidies and taxes will be 75 euro.

The Nokia 6300 is a simple design mobile phone and is very slim, comparing to all other Nokia mobile phones on the market. It has a very high quality QVGA resolution TFT display, with 16 million colors. It also features a microSd card slot, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera and FM Radio Tuner. The phone will be priced in retail at 250 euro, excluding subsidies and taxes.

The Nokia 6290 is a clamshell design smartphone, featuring quadband, 3G technology, a 2.2″ TFT display with 16 million colors, QVGA resolution and a secondary 256k colors TFT display. The smartphone has 50 MB of internal memory that can be expanded using the microSD memory card, an Infrared port, USB 2.0, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and 2 cameras, a 2 megapixel one and a secondary one for video calls. Nokia 6290 runs the Symbian 9.1 operating system and comes with a FM Radio Tuner, but misses the WiFi technology. It’s pricing will be around 325 euro, without subsidies and taxes.

The Nokia 6086 is another new quadband mobile phone, with a clamshell design. It has a 256,000 colors, 1.8″ TFT display with 128×160 pixels resolution and a secondary monochrome display. Other features are the VGA camera, FM radio tuner, microSD memory card slot and the GPRS and EDGE technologies. It’s greatest feature is the WiFi support which is UMA-enabled, being a combination of WLAN and GSM. The mobile phone will be priced at around 200 euros, excluding subsidies and taxes.
