Review: Samsung SGH-T509 (Silver) & T509S (Plum)
The Good: The Samsung SGH-T509 was one of the first truly skinny Samsung phones from T-Mobile, and it first debuted with a silver casing. Now T-Mobile is offering the same phone in plum, which is so dark, it looks like black. The Samsung SGH-T509 and T509S have an attractive design with user-friendly controls and a great display. It also has a solid feature set, including Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and support for EDGE. You can also expand the phones memory with by utilizing an SD card.
The Bad: The Samsung SGH-T509 feels fragile and suffers from mixed call quality. The phone also scratches easily.
The Bottom Line: Though some performance issues make it far from perfect, the Samsung SGH-T509 is a step above the Motorola Slvr L6.
