The Good: The Motorola Rizr Z3 has a striking design with a great display and navigation controls. It also offers decent call quality and a pleasing feature set.
The Bad: The Motorola Rizr Z3 has shaky speakerphone quality, and the camera didn’t take the best pictures. Also, the microSD card slot is in an inconvenient location.
The Bottom Line: Motorola does a slim slider phone well with the attractive and well-performing GSM Rizr Z3.
The Good: The Motorola Krzr K1m cell phone is downright sexy and offers Bluetooth, EV-DO support, and decent call quality.
The Bad: The Motorola Krzr K1m suffers from metallic music quality, poor streaming videos, and sluggish performance. Also, it offers a lower-resolution camera than on the GSM Krzr K1.
The Bottom Line: Though it’s oh-so pretty, the Motorola Krzr K1m doesn’t offer any new features. Plus, multimedia performance wasn’t reliable.
Motorola’s A1200 is a neat concept for a phone… no keypad at all. The A1200 is lighter than a RAZR and has all of the usual goodies, including email and web browsing. It also apparently supports 10 different multimedia file types and sports a 2 megapixel camera. The camera doubles as a business card scanner just in case you’re too lazy to enter it into your phonebook.
Digicel, a wireless telecommunications operator in the Caribbean and Central America, is now offering its customers the Motofone F3 phone.
The Motofone F3 is now commercially available in Haiti, Jamaica and Guyana, and will eventually hit retail shelves in additional markets later this year.
