The Sony Ericsson Z750, announced today at CTIA, is the first tri-band HSDPA phone to hit the North American market and is causing quite a stir. Users will be able to access the internet, send emails and blog at broadband speeds on this great looking handset.
Sony Ericsson have created a very good looking phone in the Z750. With its external display and mirror like finish the Z750i looks great in either Phantom Grey or Rose Pink.
Functions include live RSS tickers bringing the latest news to your desktop and a true push email application.
A 2 mega pixel camera and large 2.2 inch high resolution colour screen are becoming standard on Sony Ericssons and the Z750 is no exception.
The Z750i is the first Sony Ericsson phone based on their new Java platform allowing companies to create applications for a number of handsets more easily.
The Z750 is a tri-band HSDPA (850/1900/2100), Quad-band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900) phone and will be available in selected markets from Q3 2007.
We’ve been watching the W950 for a while now and it appears that it’s going to be finally available. 4GB of storage space let’s it out-Nano the Nano and the styling is a massive improvement over the sherbet accident that was the original Walkman phone. The W950 also has push email, improved graphics, and is running Symbian v9.1 and UIQ 3.0, meaning this is more of a smart phone than your average candybar.
Sony Ericsson W950i is an excellent walkman phone, with a high end music player, a melody composer and an FM Radio. The mobile phone also has a good speakerphone, a Bluetooth with stereo profile, an infrared port, text, multumedia and email messaging, PC synchronizer, 3G UMTS technology, voice recorder and will be priced at around $700 in US.
Sony Ericsson Z310 has been announced to be a fashion phone and an alternative to Sony Ericsson Z610, at a cheaper price and with less features. It has an external, shiny display and a row of icons that state the events that are going to take place. It’s clamshell design matches the style of Sony Ericsson Z line and adds the keyboard from the W950, a high end mobile phone.
The phone features an external monochrome display and an internal STN one, with 128×160 pixels resolution and 65k colors. Also it has GSM, GPRS and EDGE, a VGA camera, Bluetooth and 14 MB of internal memory.
Sony Ericsson Z310 will be available in the first quarter of 2007, in 3 colors: pink, bronze and black.
